【亚马逊编年史】的网上订单是通过实体

玛表示，在圣诞节到来之际，40% 的网上订单是通过实体店送达的。

这是继10月价格战之后，沃尔玛向网上零售进军的又一举措。十
年前，沃尔玛的线上业务作为一个副业在加州推出，办公地点远离其
在阿肯色州本顿维尔的总部。该业务在早期出现了一些失误，比如客
户买一个25美分的塑料杯却要支付8美元的运费，因此业务一直增长组
慢。

沃尔玛在十年间三次重新设计了沃尔玛网站。根据comScore公司
的跟踪服务，沃尔玛网站这时已经跻身电子商务网站的前列。但据
《互联网零售商》杂志估计，添尔玛网站的在2009年的销售额仅为17
亿美元，远远落后于亚马逊，后者的年销售额在前一年已经达到了
191. 7亿美元。截至12月12日，沃尔玛的假日访问量仅增长了W% ，相
比之下，亚马逊增长了34%。

沃尔玛真正开始重视网上业务的原因有两个第一是亚马逊的发
展势头太过迅独，第二是人们在消费习惯上的改变显而易见。这两个
原因都让这家传统零售巨头感到不安。尽管电子商务在美国零售支出
中所占的比例不到5% ，但大家已经发现，即使是技术不成熟的消费
者，也开始通过电脑或手机购物、浏览产品评论和价格比较网站 。
comScore公司调查发现，从11月1日到12月11日，网上订单总额与去年

12月22日，亚马逊宣布对12月23日在美国本土发货的所有Kindle
订单提供免费的一日到货服务，同时表示，Kindle最近打破了历史上
最好的销售纪录，依然是亚马逊网站上最畅销的产品Kindle在10月底
